iPhone Polaroid resemblance rejection?
Duncan’s Face Dial iPhone app was rejected. Apple told him:
We received your application named Face Dial Pro, which appears to include features that resemble Polariod photographs. Polaroid has previously objected to other applications that include features that resemble Polaroid photographs, and believes that such Polaroid features infringe its rights.
Wow. Considering Apple itself uses a Polaroid look in iPhoto for “Faces” this is really lame.
